  • In Argentina, more than 8,000 people die every year in rood accidents. Each victim represents a potential insurance claim, especially for Soso, a sleazy lawyer who stalks hospital waiting rooms and occident scenes in search of prospective customers. Soso is caught in a moral dilemma when he meets Lujan, a pretty doctor and ambulance medic who helps him see the corrupt and inhumane roots of his work. Together Soso and Lujan will try to escape the crooked industry, but Sosa's secret post becomes on insurmountable obstacle. Writer/director Pablo Topero (LION'S DEN) returns to AFI FEST with his latest noir thriller, inspired by a notional epidemic of poverty, corruption and ineffective lows.
