Pia Borg was recently named one of the 25 New Faces of Independent Film in Filmmaker Magazine. In 2017, her work was featured in the Maltese Pavilion at the 57th Venice Biennale. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the 2014 Locarno Film Festival Pardino d'Oro for best international short for ABANDONED GOODS.
