  • Lovingly married for half a century, John and Ella Spencer (Donald Sutherland and Helen Mirren) have weathered their share of storms. But when Alzheimer’s cruelly strips away John’s memory and sense of self, Ella makes an impromptu decision to take their family’s beloved Winnebago out for one last adventure: a road trip from their Massachusetts home down to Key West to visit the home of Ernest Hemingway, one of John’s literary heroes. As they wind their way south through campgrounds, coffee shops and a contentious 2016 presidential campaign, Ella struggles against the fog slowly enveloping her husband while closely guarding her own devastating secret. This is a touching and unforgettable tale of love and memory in an America on the brink of an uncertain new course. – Cedar Sherbert
